Why did you come to The School of The New York Times?

I came to The School of The New York Times because I was not sure at all what career path I wanted to take as I started thinking about college and beyond. I am still not sure, and that is completely okay. But the School of the New York Times allowed me to explore my different interests and helped me think about what I would enjoy doing as an adult.

What was your favorite part of the course?

365体育备用网址My favorite part of the course was getting to explore different parts of New York city, especially seeing Chinatown and Flushings. These two neighborhoods in particular meant a lot to me because I was exposed to such different and amazing cultures- so much so that I felt as if I wasn’t in NYC.

Did you work on a final project?

We ended our Food Culture unit by making our own pasta and then writing recipes for it.

Who do you think should take this course?

What do you think you want to be when you grow up?

I am still not sure what I would like to do as an adult, but being at the School of the New York Times helped me realize that there are so many career paths I could take (and that I am interested in) and I don’t have to choose just one of them.
