Harness the power of the written word.
Our August Writers’ Workshop is a back-to-school writing intensive program that gives rising middle and high school students an opportunity to enhance their writing skills under the tutelage of some of the best writers in the world. This week-long course draws from the strength of The School of The New York Times’s premier writing faculty and journalism courses. Students will emerge with strengthened communication skills, confidence in their writing and a profound sense of the power of the written word. We encourage students from all backgrounds to register for the workshop and we offer financial aid and scholarships.
We continue to monitor and respond to the public health situation regarding COVID-19. At this time, August Writers’ Workshop is still expected to take place in person. For all updates about The School and its programs as the situation develops, please click here.
