Trish Hall is a senior editor at The New York Times. She currently works on new projects for The Times, but spent five years as the editor for The Times’s Op-Ed page. Hall’s editing experience with The Times also includes the weekly Sunday Review, Emmy Award-winning Op-Docs, and online series that made up the Opinionator. Hall has experience managing an assortment of diverse opinions, from right-wing to left-wing, and from 3,000-word essays to three-minute videos. She is currently writing a book on persuasive communication for W.W. Norton & Company.

Hall’s journalism career began as a student at the University of California at Berkeley. Since then, she worked as an editor and writer for the Wall Street Journal and Martha Stewart Living. Hall also co-authored “A Little Work,” a book on plastic surgery.
