Michelle Higgins is a journalist and educator, with extensive experience developing premium content across platforms for influential audiences. During her 15-year career, she has served as a columnist and staff reporter at The New York Times and Wall Street Journal, covering travel, technology, real estate, personal finance, consumer trends and cars.

Prior to joining the Times, Higgins worked at The Wall Street Journal covering travel, personal finance and automobiles. She was part of the team that launched the Personal Journal section.
